hi! thanks for stopping by my site.
i'm a queer disabled furry and he/him housewife. and sometimes i make art. i like to draw both original characters and fanart, and i'm usually drawing them being gay with their clothes off. currently, the art section of my site is under construction but i plan to add a gallery in the future. i've also been known to write on rare occasions.
i've been asked before why i maintain this website. in short, i'm a believer in the ideas put forth by the Yesterweb Manifesto. i'm just one of many people who've grown really, really sick of the current state of the internet: i'm tired of being force-fed advertisements and bombarded with hot takes and arguments every time i go online, and i'm tired of the personalization of my web presence being limited to a profile picture and a few colors. and that's saying nothing of the state of censorship on every major social media platform— subjecting your users to unmoderated hate speech and pornographic advertisements (NSFW link) is fine, but trans people can't post a selfie without being flagged as Adult Content.
does this mean i think all social media, and everything about it, is universally bad? do i look down on people who use it? no! there are benefits to social media, and it's become such a large part of daily life for us that it would be foolish to say we should just get rid of it cold turkey forever. there are many good things that have happened in my life because of social media; i wouldn't have met my husband without it. but "social media is not inherently evil" and "the internet should not be reduced to a small handful of platforms owned by rich people who hate us" are two ideas that can, and should, coexist.
so, this site is for me to do and say whatever i want, and to get away from all the bullshit of the modern web. because sometimes i want to jump off a fucking bridge if i have to hear about the Discourse or TikTok Trends or Problematic Celebrities or Corporations, so it's nice to have a place where i can come and just be mad about my CSS not working, instead of being mad about what total strangers are saying and doing on social media!
my about page is the place to go if you want to get to know me a little better. you can find me on other websites via the links in that fancy little box on this page. i'm most active on Tumblr. you can also e-mail me to get in touch directly! because of my Mental Problems™, i sometimes disappear for a while or take a long time to respond to messages, but i do like to talk to people.
you can also check out my first-ever webring, the Transmasculine Pride Webring.
more stuff is on the way as i continue to work on this site. for now, explore what's here, and if you want to be affiliates, send me a message!
